2. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using this service, you agree to these terms and to comply with applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
- You must be old enough to consent to online services in your jurisdiction.
- If you are under 18, do not share personal information and use extra care with direct messages, location data, and meetups.
3. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Do not attempt to access accounts you do not own.
- Do not interfere with the service (including automation abuse, scraping that harms service quality, or attempts to bypass rate limits).
4. Acceptable use
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
- No illegal content.
- No spam, scams, or automation abuse.
- No malware, phishing, credential harvesting, exploit attempts, or other technical abuse.
- Label sensitive content where appropriate (NSFW/content warnings).
- Protect minors: no sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance).
- No doxxing or sharing private personal data without consent.
- No impersonation or deceptive identity claims.
- Respect consent and boundaries.
5. Your content, ownership, and license
- You retain rights to your content.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, display, and deliver your content as necessary to operate the service (including federation to other servers and delivery to client apps).
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and share any media.
6. Federation and deletion
This service is federated. Public content and interactions may be delivered to other servers and clients, which may cache or store copies outside our control. Deleting content here does not guarantee deletion everywhere.
7. Moderation and enforcement
Moderators may remove content, limit reach, apply warnings, or suspend accounts to keep the community safe and usable. Enforcement is discretionary and may be immediate in urgent cases.
8. Availability
This is a best‑effort service. We aim for stability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance or incident response may require temporary disruption.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of content, data, profits, or business interruption). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated where practical.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
13. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in full force.
14. No waiver
If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
15. Assignment
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent.
16. Entire agreement
These terms (and any referenced policies) form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
